Our client is seeking an IT Store Configuration Advisor to lead the rollout of new IT hardware solutions across supermarkets, from new openings to remodels. This role bridges technical implementation with operational needs, ensuring IT systems in stores are efficient, up-to-date, and responsive to business demands. As the go-to advisor on IT configurations, you'll work closely with various teams, stakeholders, and partners, enhancing in-store technology for smooth day-to-day operations. This is a key opportunity for an IT professional with a passion for retail and technology to make a direct impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation and Rollout: Coordinate new IT hardware installations and upgrades, managing all aspects from planning to deployment.
Remodeling Projects: Partner with technical and business teams to oversee IT configurations for store remodels.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Assess and define store IT requirements with stakeholders to achieve optimal solutions.
Hardware Management: Handle requests for additional or replacement hardware, managing procurement and installations.
Issue Documentation: Track and document recurring store IT issues, reporting to solution managers.
Incident Resolution: Support the service management team by providing insight into store setups for problem-solving.
IT Strategy: Provide guidance on current IT solutions aligned with a long-term roadmap.
Process Improvement: Monitor and refine processes to ensure high-quality, efficient operations.
Documentation and Training: Prepare and distribute user documentation and internal procedures.
Investment Support: Contribute to investment planning by preparing documentation and supporting evaluations.
Asset and Knowledge Management: Support asset tracking and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the department.

Exigences

Relevant experience in IT configuration, particularly within operational settings.
Experience in retail or IT configuration management is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate IT concepts clearly to store teams and business partners.
A collaborative team player, eager to work closely with the Stores’ RUN Team for seamless operations.
Curiosity for new technology trends and retail-specific IT solutions.
Capable of fostering cross-departmental collaboration within IT and beyond.
Budget-conscious, with an awareness of project timelines and resources.
Fluent in Dutch and French (English proficiency is a plus).
