For our client in Ghent, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for the fixed night shift. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily warehouse operations. You will lead a team, ensure a safe working environment, and optimize processes to increase productivity and efficiency, while maintaining high standards of the logistics process.A glimpse of the job responsibilities:- Leading the warehouse team by providing daily briefings, monitoring performance, offering feedback, and implementing training programs.- Planning, scheduling, and managing daily warehouse activities to meet production deadlines.- Optimizing warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.- Monitoring timely receiving, storage, and shipping of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments.- Ensuring safety standards and company policies are followed by conducting regular safety audits, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions.- Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyor systems, and collaborating with the maintenance team to resolve facility issues and minimize downtime.- Preparing and submitting reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).- Documenting operational procedures and ensuring team members understand and comply with them.
