QA Engineer

Your role as QA Engineer:
As a QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for testing GemOne applications both functionally and through automation. You’ll ensure the software meets customer needs and contribute to improving efficiency within the development process.
What will you do?
Perform functional and automated tests on GemOne applications according to Agile principles.
Create test cases based on the acceptance criteria of user stories.
Prepare test scripts using Playwright, Protractor, and Cucumber.
Verify software through regression tests and define test components.
Provide 2nd line support, conduct root cause analysis, and report to customers.
Act as a knowledge hub within your team and share your expertise with colleagues.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (knowledge of other languages like Java or Python is a plus).
Experience with automated web application testing, preferably with Playwright or similar frameworks (like Protractor, Selenium, Cypress).
Basic experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

You will lead a team, ensure a safe working environment, and optimize processes to increase productivity and efficiency, while maintaining high standards of the logistics process.<br />A glimpse of the job responsibilities:<br />- Leading the warehouse team by providing daily briefings, monitoring performance, offering feedback, and implementing training programs.<br />- Planning, scheduling, and managing daily warehouse activities to meet production deadlines.<br />- Optimizing warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.<br />- Monitoring timely receiving, storage, and shipping of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments.<br />- Ensuring safety standards and company policies are followed by conducting regular safety audits, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions.<br />- Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyor systems, and collaborating with the maintenance team to resolve facility issues and minimize downtime.<br />- Preparing and submitting reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).<br />- Documenting operational procedures and ensuring team members understand and comply with them.
