Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT and Logistic Assistant to support the IT operations and infrastructure of a division of the European Commission for a 6-month period. The role includes:
- Setting up new computers and onboarding staff into the organization's IT environment.
- Assisting with network and IT infrastructure setup for a new office, including relocation support.
- Supporting IT infrastructure migration, including data and email migration, and managing access rights.
- Troubleshooting daily operational issues such as network connectivity, printing problems, and access to collaboration tools and shared resources.
- Managing and maintaining IT assets, including inventory of IT equipment.
- Assisting with the setup of the corporate document management system and supporting document filing in the organization’s structure.
- Liaising with colleagues and the local Service Desk team on ongoing IT issues and priorities.
- Providing administrative support, especially in relation to business continuity.

Requirements

- Proven experience in IT support and logistics.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting IT systems and managing IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with corporate document management systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Languages

You have a very good knowledge of English
