Job description

What will you do?
As a forklift driver, you will be responsible for unloading trucks, accurately booking goods into SAP, and correctly placing products. Additionally, you will ensure that trucks are loaded on time and according to the loading schedule. You will also perform daily checks and maintenance on the forklift. Any damage or defects should be reported promptly.

Requirements

Experience operating a forklift.
Strong focus on safety and cleanliness.

Willing to work in a 2-shift system.

For our client in Ghent, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for the fixed night shift. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily warehouse operations. You will lead a team, ensure a safe working environment, and optimize processes to increase productivity and efficiency, while maintaining high standards of the logistics process.<br />A glimpse of the job responsibilities:<br />- Leading the warehouse team by providing daily briefings, monitoring performance, offering feedback, and implementing training programs.<br />- Planning, scheduling, and managing daily warehouse activities to meet production deadlines.<br />- Optimizing warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.<br />- Monitoring timely receiving, storage, and shipping of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments.<br />- Ensuring safety standards and company policies are followed by conducting regular safety audits, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions.<br />- Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyor systems, and collaborating with the maintenance team to resolve facility issues and minimize downtime.<br />- Preparing and submitting reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).<br />- Documenting operational procedures and ensuring team members understand and comply with them.
