Your Role and Responsibilities:
Our client is looking for a Compliance Expert Business Partner to join their team and support the Global Customs & Trade Compliance Manager in safeguarding the company’s integrity and reputation in customs and trade compliance. In this role, you will help ensure business operations align with global compliance standards and regulations.
Act as a key compliance business partner in transformation projects, shaping global trade management solutions.
Optimize business processes across departments to align with organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
Analyze potential customs and trade compliance risks and assess their impact.
Address customs & trade compliance-related inquiries and monitor compliance activities.
Follow developments in global regulations, rulings, policies, and guidelines.
Provide training, coaching, and advisory services on customs and trade requirements.

Requirements

Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2-3 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a customs and trade compliance role.
Strong knowledge of global customs regulations, trade compliance, and logistics.
Familiar with trade compliance software, tools, or ERP systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in Dutch & English; French is a plus.

You have a good knowledge of Dutch
You have a good knowledge of English
