Job description

As a WMS System Administrator at our client, you are responsible for managing and optimizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS). You play a crucial role in supporting the team to use the system efficiently and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Your main tasks:
- System Management: Configure and maintain the WMS to meet the operational needs of the organization.
- Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, identify issues, and coordinate solutions.
- Support and Training: Act as the first point of contact for WMS-related issues, providing timely support to end-users.
- Guidance: Assist teams in implementing system updates and new functionalities.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure WMS processes comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulations. Keep detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting.
- Efficiency and Downtime Reduction: Work proactively to improve efficiency and minimize downtime in warehouse operations.

Requirements

- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably in the automotive sector.
- Knowledge of system configuration, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to train and guide users in system usage.
- Experience in complying with compliance and safety standards.
- Independent worker with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of relevant software tools and technologies is a plus.
- Solution-oriented, structured, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- You will work in a two-shift system.

You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch

You will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across all products and processes in the distribution center, aligned with corporate requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.<br />You will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of our products is guaranteed by focusing on temperature management processes (to be in line with inbound shipping, outbound shipping, and storage temperature requirements) and inspections related to regulatory requirements such as MDR/IVDR/Swiss regulations, UK regulations...<br />You will collaborate with other departments (such as supply chain, manufacturers, business units, regulatory affairs…) and will also be leading/participating in various quality assurance projects in line with, but not limited to, temperature management and MDR/IVDR regulations.
