Job description

As a Team Leader within logistics, you are responsible for leading and guiding a team of warehouse employees, focusing on the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods. You ensure that operational goals are met, and that safety and quality standards are adhered to.
The role consists of 4 key pillars, and you are also open to working operationally alongside your team when needed.
- Team Guidance: Training, directing, motivating, and supporting your team to achieve goals and identifying training needs.
- Operational Management: Overseeing workflows for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping parts.
- Performance and Reporting: Tracking team results and reporting to the Supervisor.
- Problem-Solving: Resolving small operational challenges and escalating complex issues.

Requirements

- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and dedication to quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in the automotive sector.

Languages

You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch
You have an excellent knowledge of English
