Job description

Do you want to play a vital role in the packaging process within the food sector? We are looking for a packing coordinator to ensure a smooth and quality packing process.
Your tasks:
-Process management: Responsible for the entire packaging process, from frozen chips to a finished product.
-Faults & adjustments: First-line assistance in case of faults and optimisation of the packaging line.
-Planning & coordination: Monitor and adjust packing planning in cooperation with the team leader.
-Network & hygiene: Coordinating cleaning tasks and ensuring a tidy working environment.
-Material management: Timely requesting and providing foil, cardboard and seasoning.
-Problem solving: Proactively identify bottlenecks and take corrective action.
-Administration & testing: Reporting incidents and conducting packaging tests.
-Knowledge sharing & guidance: Support colleagues and contribute to instructions and learning materials.

Requirements

Experience as a packaging operator in the food sector or in a coordinating role.
Technical and process understanding.
Problem-solving and critical attitude.
Knowledge of Dutch, French or English and willing to communicate with foreign-speaking colleagues.

Languages

You have a very good knowledge of Dutch

You have a very good knowledge of French

You will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across all products and processes in the distribution center, aligned with corporate requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.<br />You will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of our products is guaranteed by focusing on temperature management processes (to be in line with inbound shipping, outbound shipping, and storage temperature requirements) and inspections related to regulatory requirements such as MDR/IVDR/Swiss regulations, UK regulations...<br />You will collaborate with other departments (such as supply chain, manufacturers, business units, regulatory affairs…) and will also be leading/participating in various quality assurance projects in line with, but not limited to, temperature management and MDR/IVDR regulations.
