Job description

AGO Mechelen is looking for motivated Order Pickers who want to work in the fixed night shift!
We are looking for motivated warehouse workers/order pickers for an international company specializing in construction machinery in Grimbergen. Your main task will be preparing orders using a scanner and electric pallet truck. The warehouse contains both small and very large items, so you must be physically fit to lift weights up to 25kg.
Your responsibilities include:
- Collecting orders and moving goods.
- Transporting, loading, and unloading goods with the help of an electric pallet truck.
- Ensuring all orders depart on time by working accurately.

Requirements

- You have previous experience as an order picker and want to further develop your skills in this area.
- You have worked with an electric pallet truck and a handheld scanner in the past.
- Your knowledge of Dutch or English is perfect, both spoken and written.
- Teamwork, independence, and a sense of responsibility are values you highly prioritize.
- You can work without issues in a fixed night shift (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Preferably, you have your own transportation since the company is difficult to reach by public transport.
- A clean criminal record is very important.

You have a very good knowledge of English

You will start on a weekly contract basis, but over time, you will receive a permanent contract. A competitive salary is offered, supplemented with meal vouchers, a CAO 90 bonus, and 6 ADV days. Since you work in the fixed night shift, you will receive a night shift bonus of 20% per hour.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across all products and processes in the distribution center, aligned with corporate requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.<br />You will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of our products is guaranteed by focusing on temperature management processes (to be in line with inbound shipping, outbound shipping, and storage temperature requirements) and inspections related to regulatory requirements such as MDR/IVDR/Swiss regulations, UK regulations...<br />You will collaborate with other departments (such as supply chain, manufacturers, business units, regulatory affairs…) and will also be leading/participating in various quality assurance projects in line with, but not limited to, temperature management and MDR/IVDR regulations.
